Leamings to celebrate 60th

 George and Jean (Moore) Leaming will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday.
    They were married Sept. 19, 1948, at the Bloom Methodist Church in Bloom.
    They lived there and farmed for 46 years near Bloom, where Jean was born and raised. George retired from the Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America with 35 years of service.
    They have four children. Judy and Jim Branine, Paola; David Leaming, Bloom; Arlyn Leaming, Dodge City; and Jodeen Leaming, Minneola. There are two grandchildren, Tina and Chad Bender, Olathe; and Geoff and Robin; and great-grandchildren Braden and Ashley Branine, Louisburg.
    The family plans to celebrate with a family weekend together near Branson, Mo., in October.
