Holmeses to celebrate 60th

    Lloyd and Marguerite Holmes, formerly of Dodge City will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 with family in Topeka.
    Their children and spouses are Alan (deceased May 1, 2002)  and wife, Karen of Greenville, Texas; Kent and Kathy Holmes, Topeka; Todd and Jodi Holmes of Montezuma.  Grandchildren and spouses are Brian and Gloria Holmes, and David Holmes, Greenville, Texas; Nicholas and Marci Holmes of Pasadena, Calif. and Grant Holmes, Montezuma.
    Lloyd and Marguerite Washaliski were married Aug. 8, 1948 at the EUB Church in McCracken.  They made their home in Dodge City for 56 years, with Lloyd being in the car business for most of those years, moving to Topeka in Dec. of 2004.
