Irvin and Genevieve Marrs of Montezuma will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on April 12, 2009. There are no special plans for the couple but they would enjoy receiving a card.
Irvin and Genevieve (Bargar) Marrs were married at the Gray County Courthouse by Mrs. Grace Truax on April 12, 1944. Genevieve’s father was present and both of Irvin’s parents were present for the ceremony.
The couple have three children: Dianna Walker and husband, Mike, of Shenandoah, TX; Perrie Marrs and wife Amy, Pittsburg; the late Gary Marrs and his wife Darla of Montezuma. They have 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
