Joneses to celebrate 50th

 Jerald and Linnette Jones will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 7th, 2009.  They will be honored at a reception hosted by their children on Sunday May 24th, 2009, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Minneola Civic Connection, Minneola, Kansas.
    The couple met during the Fowler Dog Patch Days and were married June 7th, 1959 in Fowler.  They have three children.  Nan and husband Doug Luhrsen of O'Fallon, Illinois, Paul Jones and wife Amy of Newton, Kansas, and Julie Jones of Albert Lea, Minnesota.  The couple have nine grandchildren, Melissa Leistikow and husband George, Ashley Haase and husband Brett, Danielle Boss and husband Brett, Cassie Luhrsen, Matthew Rankin, Brooke Luhrsen, Megan Luhrsen, Abby Jones, and Emma Jones. They also have been blessed with 6 great grandchildren.  Sydney and Hannah Reed, Zoe Leistikow, Jaelyn and Aidin Boss, Bryn Haase.
    Jerald Jones is a retired farmer and house mover.  Linnette Jones is a retired hairdresser and homemaker.
