Barbara Kass and Robert Lauters were united in marriage on Saturday, Feb. 7, 1959 at St. Joesph Catholic Church in Le Mars, Iowa.
In honor of their 50th wedding anniversary there will be a reception on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at the VFW Hall in Dodge City from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited. No gifts please.
The celebration of their 50th anniversary will be hosted by their children and their families, Pam and Earl Miller, Amanda and Austin, Homer, Neb.; Jim Lauters, Norfolk, Neb.; Mike and Lori Lauters, Steven and Kolby Lauters, Erin and Gene and Lawson Zierke, all of Pierce, Neb.; Scott and Angie Lauters and Cessia, Temecula, Calif., Amy and Nick Hofer and Hailey and Grayson, Carlsbad, Calif., Jeff and Lisa Lauters, Overland Park.
Bob and Barb reside at 2402 Post Ave. in Dodge City where they have lived since 1982.
