Chaffins to celebrate 50th

 Gary and Charlotte (Hawley) Chaffin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on
August 17, 2008.
    They were married Aug. 17, 1958, at the Moscow United Methodist Church.
After living in Liberal for a brief period the couple moved to Dodge City,
where they raised their children and grew their family business.
    They have four children. Darcy and Greg Morrison, Abilene; Charla and
Craig Taylor, Valley Mills, Texas; Darren and Colbi Chaffin, Overland Park;
Chaz Chaffin, Linwood; and seven grandchildren.
    The family celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Table Rock Lake, Missouri.
