Bob and Jennifer Smidt will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009. Robert Dean Smidt and Jennifer Sue Veltman were married on Feb. 4, 1984 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City.
The couple resided in Dodge City until 1990, when they moved to Eudora. In 1998, they settled in rural Abilene. The couple have four children; Jamie, 23, Jared, 20, Jacob, 16 and Jesse, 13.
