Gerald and Mae Jacobs, Dodge City will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a card shower. Gerald Jacobs and the former Lela Mae Baalman were married Aug. 30, 1958 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Dodge City.
Children of the couple are Lori Fleming and husband, Rich, Copeland, Rhonda Cook and husband, David, Parker, Ariz., Shawn Jacobs and wife, Kathy, Plains; and Dana Handy and husband, Jerrod, Wichita. They have 10 grandchildren, one step grandchild, and three step great-grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with a small reception and supper on Aug. 16, 2008 at the Joyce L. Hamm Golf Course Club House, Plains. Cards may be sent to them at 1310 Greenwood, Dodge City, KS 67801.
