Open meetings, records training today

Kansas Attorney General Steve Six is offering a refresher course on the state's open meetings and open records laws today in Dodge City.
    The workshop, designed for government officials, local media and the public, will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the Dodge City Community College board room inside the Student Union. Six's staff will provide detailed training on the Kansas Open Meetings and Open Records Acts, as well as a panel discussion including representatives of the public, the media and the legal arena.
    The registration deadline for the workshop has already passed.
