Dodge City —
The Kansas Highway Patrol and the Dodge City Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint today in Ford County.
The Highway Patrol and other area law enforcement agencies join together to conduct the checkpoints to remove impaired drivers from the streets and highways and reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes and injuries.
The police department will also conduct a DUI saturation patrol starting late Saturday night and ending early Sunday morning within the Dodge City limits.
