Ford County´s Extension Lunch and Learn series is starting it´s 10th year with a program on "Growing African Violets." This topic will be presented by Norma Henton, Ford County Extension Master Gardener for the Oct. 9 program. All Lunch and Learn programs are held in the
Rose Room in the basement of the Ford County Government Building.
The Lunch and Learn program offers a variety of topics each year, said Ethel Schneweis, Ford County Extension Family and Consumer Science Agent. Come to this noon program and learn more about how to brighten your home with African Violets!
Lunch and Learn is sponsored by the Ford County Extension Office and the Extension Family and Consumer Science Program Development Committee. The programs are designed to start at approximately 12:10 p.m. and conclude around 12:50 p.m. The public is invited to attend the Lunch and Learn sessions which are held on the second Thursday of each month on a variety of topics. Bring a lunch if you wish; coffee and tea will be provided.
