The Ford County Extension's Knowledge at Noon program for February will feature Dawn Habiger, who is well known with Kansas quilting circles for her love and knowledge of quilting. On Feb. 11, Habiger will share her appreciation of quilts, display pieces of her collection and offer a brief look at quilting's legacy of usefulness and beauty.
These programs are held in the Rose Room in the basement of the Ford County Government Building, said Ethel Schneweis, Ford County Extension family and consumer science agent.
Knowledge at Noon is sponsored by the Ford County Extension Office and FCS Program Development Committee. The programs are designed to start at approximately 12:10 p.m. and conclude at around 12:50 p.m.
The public is invited to attend. The programs usually occur on the second Thursday of each month, and topics vary. People are encouraged to bring lunch, by coffee and tea are provided.
