Nick Powers and Shannon Butler, Manhattan, are the parents of a son, Jackson Dean Powers, born June 19, 2008 Grandparents are J.B. and Teri Glassco, Dodge City; Tim Powers, Dodge City; Galen and Diane Washington, Manhattan; Bill and Mary Butler, Manhattan. Great-grandparents are Wayne and Billie Hawkins, Dodge City; Grant and Bonnie Powers, Bucklin; Ella Lundberg, Manhattan; Harry and Jean Washington, Manhattan.

Anthony and Danna Legleiter, Dodge City, are the parents of a son, Dean Layne Legleiter, born July 10, 2008.  One sibling, Hannah.  Grandparents Clara and Al Puckett, Ashland; Joe and Linda Legleiter, Dodge City.

Chris and Taren Bloom, Topeka, are the parents of a son, Caden Christopher, born July 15, 2008.  Siblings are Zachary and Megan. Oscar Cisneros and Deanna Orona, Dodge City, are the parents of a son, Jose Giovonnie, born July 16, 2008.  Siblings are Brandy and Edwin.  Grandparents are Jose Orona and Teresa Orona, Garden City.
   
Jesus Aguero Hernandez and Maria del Carmen Alvarez, Dodge City, are the parents of a daughter, Rachel Aguero Alvarez, born July 17, 2008.  Grandparents are Maria Elena Hernandez and Jesus Aguero Gutierrez.  Great-grandparents are Gregoria Martinez Gonzalez and Adolfo Lugo; Evaristo Hernandez, Sofia Gonzalez.

Trisha Perez, Dodge City, is the mother of a daughter, Jocelyn Nevaeh Thiel, born July 18, 2008.  Siblings are Juana and Jackie.  Grandparents are Ben and Carol Thiel, Dodge City.  Great-grandparents are Charles and Josie Samuel, Hutchinson; the late Harold and Viola Thiel, Harper.
