SW Kansas Coalition to meet today

    The Southwest Kansas Coalition will meet today at the Dodge House Hotel and Convention Center, following a meeting with the Kansas Deprtment of Transportation. The meeting will begin with dinner at 5 p.m., followed by the discussion at 6.
    Topics will include the coalition's legislative policy, a lobbyist discussion, a trip to Washington, D.C., and the grounbreaking for Dodge City's special events center.
    The coalition is a joint task force of commissioners, city managers and staff for Dodge City, Garden City and Liberal. The group's goal is to identify common issues and strengthen the region's voice in Topeka and Washington, D.C.
