    • 4-H King and Queen nominations

    • Every year, Ford County 4-H Clubs select one boy and one girl to serve as their representative for the King and Queen Contest during the county fair. The public is invited to vote for their King and Queen at the Ford County Fair. Each candidate will have a can displayed inside the fairbuilding during open hours July 20th – 23rd. Votes are counted in 1 (one) penny increments. All proceeds from the contest will go towards the Ford County 4-H Ambassador/Exchange program to help youth with travel expenses and leadership trainings. All candidates and our crowned King and Queen will also appear in the Dodge City Day’s parade. For more information on the King and Queen contest, please contact the Ford County Extension Office at 620-227-4542.
