The week of July 11 started much the same way it ended, in veepstakes speculation and a sizzling anticipation for the dueling major party conventions that will include a host of formal speeches and adoption of party platforms -- in addition to the coronation of each presumptive nominee.

The Republican National Convention will be held at Quicken Loans arena in in Cleveland, Ohio from July 18 - 21 and it marks the first time the Ohio city has hosted the event since 1936.
