Slick streets prompted the Dodge City Police Department to implement its weather-related accident reporting system Sunday.
The system allows drivers involved in wrecks that did not involve injuries, property damage or alcohol to exchange their names, addresses, phone numbers and insurance information. In addition, they must take down the location, date and time of the wreck.
The drivers can submit reports on the accident to the police department at a later time.
