The Ford County Attorney's Office has filed new charges against a Dodge City man accused of killing his infant son in July.
Francisco Pablo-Bicente was charged earlier this month with first-degree murder, child abuse and identity fraud, according to Ford County District Court records. His contested preliminary hearing, which will determine whether he is bound over for trial on the charges, has not been scheduled yet.
Earlier this year, Pablo-Bicente was charged with unintentional second-degree murder in the July 2 death of his son, Juan C. Pablo-Tino. He was also charged in an unrelated case with a single count of identity fraud.
The murder charge was dismissed for lack of evidence after Pablo-Bicente's Oct. 17 contested preliminary hearing, but the state was allowed to refile the case at a later date.
