Dodge City police responded to two separate stabbings over the weekend.
The first occurred shortly after midnight, said Police Chief John Ball.
Gumercindo Soto-Reveles, 38, was allegedly stabbed by his roommate, John Robles-Rodriguez after an argument between the two men. Soto-Reveles was treated and released from Western Plains Medical Complex. Robles-Rodrigues, 43, was later arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery.
Dodge's second stabbing of the weekend came around 10 p.m. Sunday. Ball said Dodge City resident Manual Lozano was embroiled in an argument with his wife, Leticia, when she allegedly stabbed him.
Leticia was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery. Her husband was treated for his injuries, released, then arrested by Dodge City police for criminal threat and battery.
Manual's father-in-law, Joel Floriano, was also arrested on charges of criminal threat and battery in the same incident.
"It was my understanding alcohol was involved in both (stabbings)," Ball told the Daily Globe.
