    GATE, Okla. — Raymond Everett Kile Jr., 60, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Wichita.
    He was born July 5, 1949, to Raymond Everett Sr. and Pauline (Baldwin) Kile at Nevada, Mo. He married Cleta Fay McNeill on May 31, 1978, at Guymon, Okla. She survives.
    A former resident of Garden City, he served in the U.S. Navy. He worked in construction and was a panel mechanic with the Stellar Group.
    Other survivors includ a son, James Azar and wife, Peggy, Las Vegas; four daughters, Wendy Van Wyck, Tulsa, Okla., Deborah Patterson and husband, Devon, Holcomb, Michele Azar, Denver, and Jennifer White and husband, Charles, Deer Creek; four brothers, Don Kile, Bonner Springs, Brian Kile, Kansas City, Kan., Aaron Kile, Kansas City, Kan., and David Kile, Bonner Springs; a sister, Linda Freeland, Pleasant Hill, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Gate, Okla., with the Rev. Al Scrifes presiding and military honors by the Laverne (Okla.) American Legion. There will be a private scattering of ashes.
