Lori and Garland Webster spent an uncharacteristically mild summer morning taking in a little bit of rodeo.
Although this isn't the Ontario, Canada, natives' first trip out to Dodge City, it's going to be their first time watching the greatest show on dirt.
"We've been to Dodge City before, but we didn't take in the rodeo," Garland said. "We like to go around and hit the big rodeos."
Garland said he and Lori have always been rodeo people, so it only seemed to make sense coming to Dodge City's. And other than the heavy construction going on along West Wyatt Earp Boulevard, they've enjoyed their stay.
"It's been pretty good," Garland said.
The two plan on staying for the entire festival and have already taken in the Quack Attack duck race, watched the area's best drivers at Dodge City Raceway Park and caught a traditional Mexican rodeo during the Fiesta.
And while they've enjoyed the other festivities, the Websters know why they're here.
    "It's mainly for the rodeo."
