Hazel L. Martin, 90, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at the Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.
She was born Nov. 15, 1919, to George and Frona ( Radford) Bullock in West Eminence, Missouri.
She married Gerald Martin on June 7, 1940, in Richfield. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1979. She was a school teacher at Richfield and Rolla schools and a librarian for Stevens County for 10 years.
Survivors include, one son, Dan Martin and wife, JoEllen of Liberal; one daughter, Geralynn Johns and husband, Norman of Richfield; three sisters, Maxine Cook of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Joyce Sparks of Cheney, and Judy Chatham of Topeka; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Richfield with Rev. Sandy Ferguson presiding and burial in the Richfield Cemetary in Richfield. Friends may call from 10 to 8 on Saturday and from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 am until service time on Monday at the church.
