Various agencies are beginning to announce fun things for kids to do during the summer vacation. Here are a few.
The Depot Theater Company has two programs planned: "How am I Doin'?" and "Kids Spotlight."
The first begins Saturday and runs from 2 to 5 p.m. for six Saturdays, finishing with a performance July 2. The program is for kids ages 8 to 14 and will give participants the opportunity to advance and showcase their acting talents and skills, along with learning audition and rehearsal techniques.
"Kids Spotlight" is also for kids ages 8 to 14 and begins July 31. Meeting from 2 to 5 p.m. over five Saturdays, the workshop concludes with a cabaret performance Aug. 28. The workshop will focus on singing, acting and dancing.
