    Mark E. Madden, 56, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at his home in Rose Hill.
    He was born Feb. 10, 1954, in Hill City to Eugene Ellis and Phyllis Ione (Kobler) Madden.
    He was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army and a stained-glass painter. He lived in Dodge City for a number of years.
    Survivors include his mother; a brother, Kelly Madden, Wichita; and three sisters, Patricia Madden-Beran and husband, Kenneth, of Derby, Pamela Werling and husband, Gary, of Gretna, Neb., and Teresa Madden, Rose Hill.
    He was preceded in death by his father; a nephew, Jeffrey Mark; and his grandparents Albert and Anna Kobler and Harry and Theresa Madden.
    A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Hill City United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Aaron Madondo and Phil Stinemetz presiding. Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Hill City.
    There will be no visitation.
