    Donald Earl McClure, 65, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Via Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
    He was born on May 5, 1945 in Dodge City, the son of Charles E. and Edith Alene (Rector) McClure. He married Joanie Schroeder on August 3, 1968 in Wright.
    He was a foreman at High Plains Dressed Beef for many years. He also was a farmer and custom harvester for many years. Donald later owned Fred's Tavern.  Most recently, he was President of DCJ Enterprises, contracting for Fed Ex.
    Don is survived by his wife, Joanie McClure of Dodge City; three sons, Charles Garrett McClure of Los Angeles, California, Curtis James McClure of Dodge City, and Cullen Earl McClure and wife Danielle of Souix Falls, South Dakota; three brothers, Larry McClure of Tampa, Florida, Dale McClure of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Doyle McClure, also of Tampa; and four grandchildren,
    Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
    Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City.
