Carnegie Center for the Arts has announced the Carnegie Art Camp, scheduled for 1 to 5 p.m. June 7-11.


    Carnegie Center for the Arts has announced the Carnegie Art Camp, scheduled for 1 to 5 p.m. June 7-11.
    Instructors will include Miraya Ramirez, AnnieLaurie Burk, Darleen Clifton Smith, Marilyn Hinjosa, Inga Ojala and Marianna Moreno, assisted by Jennifer Nolan, Debbie Chipman and Carolyn Johnson.
    Two classes will be offered each afternoon: one for students ages 8 to 10 and one for students ages 11 to 13.
    Activities for the younger artists will include paper mache pets, polymer clay creations and drawing techniques. The older students will create paper mache masks, western and Native American-inspired leather stamping, 3D scrapbooks amd exploding memory boxes.
