    Darlene Sophia Clinesmith, 92, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Morton County Health Systems, Rolla.
    She was born Dec. 12, 1917, in Stevens County to Orval Edward and Pearl (Youngren) Rich. She married Albert Dale Clinesmith on Sept. 25, 1938, at Boise City, Okla. He preceded her in death in June 1994.
    A lifetime resident of Stevens and Morton counties, she worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years before retiring.
    Survivors include a son, Gary Dale Clinesmith and wife, Diana, Lenexa; three sisters, Fern Traver, Hugoton, Verna Maupin, Skiatook, Okla., and Doris Mantzke, Hugoton; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sheri Brummett; a son-in-law, Ronald Brummett; an infant son, Eldon Dean Clinesmith; a brother, Claude Rich; and a grandson, Robin Brummett.
    The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Rolla, with the Rev. Sandy Ferguson presiding. Burial will be in the Rolla Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home, Hugoton.
