Three of the four Dodge City High School boys’ track and field athletes that are competing in the Class 6A portion of the 6-1A state championsips at Wichita’s Cessna Stadium are competing this morning.

    DCHS standout Terrence Williams, who qualified in both the high jump and triple jump, will compete in the high jump at 8 a.m.

    His triple-jump events will be held on Saturday.

    Discus throwers Bruce Campbell and Bryce Sonday will be competing in that event, starting at 9:45.

    The only other boys’ athlete from Dodge competing this weekend is Jean-Damien Bouyer in the 200-meter dash.

    For  Dodge City’s girls, DaShonda Johnson is one of the favorites in the 100-meter hurdles.
