    A lifetime resident of Stafford, James M. Logue was called home to be with the Lord May 20, 2010, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
    He was born to James Sanford and Sadie Maye Logue April 12, 1928, at Stafford. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, with time spent in France.
    He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Wright at Sylvia, Kansas, on October 2, 1955. She survives.
    He was an active member of the First Christian Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. He was a charter member of the Stafford Recreation Commission and was a member of the Jaycees in the 1950s. He had been on the board of directors for Stafford Lake and a carpentry-based Vocational Education Committee.
    Jim was a building contractor/craftsman and farmed in the Stafford area.
    His loving children include Douglas of Colorado Springs, CO.; Melinda Owens and her husband, Robert, of Stafford; Bart of Castle Rock, CO.
    He leaves behind two sisters, Betty Madden Bailey and her husband, Bob, of Dodge City. Lona Hinshaw of Hutchinson. Also several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the First Christian Church, Stafford, with Pastor Rhonda Glenn officiating.
    Visitation will be Monday 1-7 p.m. at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. The family will receive friends Monday 6-7 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at the Stafford Cemetery.
