Dodge City and Ford County officials, along with Global
Entertainment Corporation are excited to announce that they have reached an agreement with UNITED WIRELESS for the naming rights of the Dodge City/Ford County Events Center.
The newly named UNITED WIRELESS ARENA is slated to open in February 2011.

The agreement will be signed in an official ceremony on November 4th, 2010, at 10:00a.m. The
ceremony will take place at the arena construction site.

Dodge City and Ford County have specific strategic plans underway to become the
“Entertainment Capital” of southwest Kansas. Ford County Commissioner Kim Goodnight said,
“Ford County is honored to have United Wireless as a partner on the new events center, it truly is
what will make it special!” He continued, “Their commitment to do something significant for
our community exemplifies their approach to invest in this grand idea of making Ford County a
destination.”

The events center is funded through “Why Not Dodge?” sales tax. Mayor Kent Smoll
commented “This is a great day! The partnership between United Wireless and the Dodge
City/Ford County Special Event Center is a prime example of a public/private partnership. We
are excited to have them as one of the premier sponsors of Southwest Kansas’ newest and
greatest entertainment venue. Their commitment is a great investment in the “Why Not Dodge”
program. We need to thank all of the sponsors.”

Rick Kozuback, CEO for Global Entertainment said, “This is a wonderful day for all associated
with the Dodge City/Ford County Events Center. To have such a significant local company as
United Wireless choose to join us in naming the events center is a tremendous step in the overall
development of the events center and all those it will serve over its lifetime. We are very
fortunate to have such a wonderful partner as United Wireless and look forward to a successful
relationship for years to come!”

United Wireless is actively involved in a number of community projects, and is the sponsor of
many community events. Craig Mock, General Manager for United Wireless said, “The Board

of Directors, employees and I are very proud of taking another step in the advancement of
bringing quality entertainment to our area of Kansas. We have prided ourselves in not only
offering the best service and coverage to our customers but the many dollars and man hours we
have given to various civic organizations, schools and individuals. We pledge to continue to
offer the best to our customers and invite everyone to join us in enjoying these excellent
facilities.” To this, Greg Minet, Marketing Director for United Wireless added: “United
Wireless continues to take pride in what we offer to our customers and the communities that we
serve. The United Wireless Arena is just another opportunity to say thanks to western Kansas
for supporting us. We are getting ready to celebrate our 5th anniversary and this venture is the
beginning of our commitment to continue that support.”

United Wireless will pay approximately $722,000 over the next ten years for the naming of the
arena. In addition, they have another agreement which involves not only advertising within the
arena, but use of the Magouirk Conference Center and use of the arena to host events for the
community.

The naming rights for the facility are a vital part of its economic sustainability. Kelley Linn,
Director of Sales for Global Entertainment facilitated the agreement. “United Wireless is a
dream partner for us”, said Linn, “For a local company to step up and support our community at
this level says so much about their commitment to the prosperity and economic growth of
southwest Kansas.”

The United Wireless Arena features a U-shaped seating bowl and has a maximum seating
capacity of approximately 4,220 ticketed seats for soccer/hockey and approximately 6,040
ticketed seats for center stage concert events. End stage concert events will have a maximum
capacity of approximately 5,810 ticketed seats.
