 Margret Craver Withers died Nov. 22, 2010 at Youville House in Cambridge, Mass.
 Craver was born on Oct. 11, 1907 in Pratt, Kan. and raised in Copeland, Kan. She was a noted silversmith and educator.
 She earned her BFA from the University of Kansas where she first discovered her love for metalsmithing.
 Craver retired from metalsmithing in 1988. Her handmade tools and hallmarks are now in the National Museum of American History, and her papers are archived in the Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art.
 Ms Craver is survived by her step-daughter, Josephine Withers of Accokeek Md.; her sister Lula May Woodson of Dodge City; and nieces Jacqualine Dunham of Plains, Sammie O’Donohoe of Houston, Texas, Mary Naquin of Dickenson, Texas, and Rita Gunter of Corpus Christi, Texas.
