After five games without a loss, the Dodge City High School girls’ soccer team’s streak came to an end Tuesday.
Wichita Trinity jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the half, and cruised to a 5-1 victory.

With the loss, Dodge City falls to 5-3-1 overall, but they have gone 1-3-1 in games played in Wichita.
The good thing for Dodge City, they are still undefeated in the Western Athletic Conference at 3-0.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS
GARDEN CITY -— For the second straight day, Dodge City Middle School’s girls’ B-team’s Cynthia Rodela put up a hat trick.
Rodela’s three goals Tuesday helped Dodge City beat Garden City Abe Hubert 3-1.
“She is very technical,” DCMS girl’s coach John Bouchard said.  “She controls the ball as soon as it comes near her. She has a good touch on it and as soon as she comes to the defender, she cuts them very easy and gets the goal.”
Bouchard added that the performance of Alondra Romo has helped take double teams off of Rodela, to allow her to get more one-on-one looks.
The girls’ B-team won 1-0 with a goal from Jackie Del Real.
    Both teams are now 4-0.
