     Larry L. Landers, 69, died October 22, 2011, at his home in Pratt.
     He was born September 6, 1942, in Appleton City, Missouri, to Paul D. and Eunice (Campbell) Landers.
     He had been a resident of Pratt since 2009 and was a former longtime resident of Protection, KS.
     He was a retired hospital and nursing home administrator, serving facilities in Bucklin, Herington, Kinsley, Arkansas City, Stockton, Coffeyville and Protection.
     He was a member of the Optimists Club of Pratt and a former longtime member of the Bucklin Lions Club.
     He was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force.
     On September 6, 1964, he married Romayne D. Tipton at Lucerne, Missouri, She died February 19, 1982. He married Rita Kirk August 14, 1982, at Bucklin, Kansas. She survives.
     Survivors include his wife, Rita, of Pratt; a son, Allen Landers and wife, Denise, of Auburn, Alabama; a daughter, Lisa Rohrbaugh and husband, Mark, of Olathe, Kansas; two brothers, Don and Dale Landers of Columbia, Missouri; and four grandchildren.
     A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the Bucklin United Methodist Church, with Pastor Rick Jones and the Rev. Dennis Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Bucklin, Kansas, Cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by Julius F. Troehmel Post #269, Bucklin, Kansas.
     There will be no public visitation, as cremation has taken place.
