    Saturday, Aug. 4th   
    7:45 a.m. - “Saddle Up” Bike Ride
    Sheridan Activity Center Parking Lot
    A road ride for all ages and abilities. Registration starts at 7:30am at the Start/Finish in the parking lot south of the Sheridan Activity Center. Refreshments at Start/Finish and every 10 miles. Every rider must wear a helmet. A ride for fun and fitness, not competition.
    There is no fee, but donations to cover the cost of refreshments will be accepted. For more information call Van Hampton 620-338-3441 or John Wentling 620-225-7516.
    9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Arts, crafts &  things show
    Village Square Mall
    Stroll through the booths at the mall with your family. This is a great event for all ages.
    Vendors from all over the United States will be present to show off their wares.

    10 a.m. - Dodge City Shrine Club Kiddie Parade
    Sacred Heart School Parking Lot to Boot Hill Parking Lot
    Dodge City Shrine Club Kiddie Parade is a short parade through downtown Dodge City for children ages 12 and under. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 3 different groups: individual, small group (2-3) and large group (4+).
    Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart School parking lot.
    The parade will end at Boot Hill parking lot. Refreshments will be available for all participants.  Awards are presented at the end of the trail.

    10 a.m.- 5 p.m. -2012 Classic Car Show
    Wright Park
    Do you like strolling back through time looking at Classic Cars?  Then come to the Classic Car Show sponsored by Bad Habit Sports Bar & Grill, Lewis Toyota and Lewis Ford of Dodge City.  You will be able to gaze at beautiful automobile masterpieces plus cast your vote for the People's Choice Award.  Again this year, during the Classic Car Three Xtreme motocross riders will be putting on three separate 25 minute shows  doing Back Flips, Superman seat grab, Nac-Nac, Cliff Hanger, and other famous FMX tricks, Shows will be at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.  
    Guests will need a lapel pin to enter the park.

    Noon - High Noon Gunfight
    Boot Hill Museum
    Experience the Legend of the Wild West on Front Street. Dodge City Lawmen will face off with rough and rowdy Texas Cowboys in the showdown of the year.  The World Famous Boot Hill Museum Gunfighters and alumni gunfighters present one of the largest Old West Gunfights in the world.  
    Page 2 of 2 - The gunfight is free and takes place at high noon at Boot Hill Museum.  
    Gates open at 11:45.  Seating is limited.  No pets allowed.
    8:30 p.m. - Dodge City Nights cabaret
    Santa Fe Depot
    When the Depot Theater Company wanted to provide a new event for Dodge City Days, they turned to their roster of musicians and singers and created "When Dodge City Days Turn Into Dodge City Nights," a cabaret that's been a popular event on the DCDays schedule for the past several years. The program will feature music by the likes of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and the Gershwins.
    This year's cabaret is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. today through Saturday.
    Tickets, which include an appetizer, are $20, $18 with your Dodge City Days' pin.
    Reservations, which are highly advisable for the normally sold out show, can be made at (620) 225-1001.
    Sunday, Aug. 5
    8 a.m.- noon - TETWP benefit breakfast
    Knights of Columbus
    This is a benefit breakfast for the “Tough Enough To Wear Pink” organization which helps families and individuals with their battles with cancer.  All money raised will be used locally.  Free will donations are welcome.  
    Menu consists of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, casseroles, cinnamon rolls, fruit cocktail, coffee and orange juice. A horseshoe pitching tournament will be taking place with registration starting at 9 a.m. with tournament starting at 10 a.m.  $5.00 per person admission.  Refreshments will be served during the tournament.
    1- 3:30pm - McDonald's Kidfest
    Wright Park
    Grab the kids and head down to Wright Park for the 17th Annual McDonald's KidFest. Recommended ages are 4 to 12-years-old. Admission is simply a lapel pin to participate in the games and activities.
    You'll not go away empty handed, that is a promise! McDonald's donates many wonderful prizes, and the 2012 Leadership Dodge Class, as well as many area businesses, sponsor games and activities.
     JAG and DC Sand will provide a Giant Sand Box for the children to dig for prizes.
