A community garage sale and craft show will fill the floor of the United Wireless Arena Saturday.
The sale, which runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., will have about 55 vendors selling everything from garage sale treasures to homemade noodles.
"There will be something for everybody," said Ila Siders, director of marketing for the arena.
According to Siders, the United Wireless Arena team decided to host the community garage sale because it's an event that's been successful at several other similar arenas.
"We've booked booths for people from Claflin, Amarillo and quite a few from Garden City," Siders said.
"I'm excited to see things as they come in," Siders said.
In addition to the garage sale booths, vendors will offer handmade textiles and jewelry plus a variety of food items: noodles, bread, jams and jellies, and bierocks.
"It's about half-and-half garage sale and craft show," Siders said.
Several organizations will take advantage of the show to raise money, including a bake sale in support of the Alley and a benefit for Brisa Michelle Bustos who was injured in a car wreck in July.
The Pampered Chef will be there, along with a booth selling purses and another selling Christmas wreaths.
The arena concession stands will be open and Siders is planning an special treat for shoppers.
"We're going to have blue light specials throughout the day — that will be fun. I think everyone will have a good time," Siders said.

Coming up at UWA
According to Siders, summer was a very busy time for United Wireless Arena and the Magouirk Conference Center.
"We had a lot of weddings and quinceneras and meetings. It's great that the Hilton hotel is open now and the casino is doing really well."
Management at the arena spends summer months getting ready for the coming concert season.
The fall season of events kicks off on Oct. 11 with Brantley Gilbert's Hell on Wheels Tour. Tickets for that event are on sale now.
Coming on Dec. 16 is the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Show.
Two basketball tournaments are set for January: the Tournament of Champions and SPIAA.
And in March, comedian Jeff Dunham will appear on Mar. 10 followed by Championship Bull Riding on Mar. 16.
"Plus we have a couple of big announcements coming up," Siders said. "Everybody will want to save a little bit of their Christmas money to get tickets for these events," Siders said.
