George H. Ralstin, 75, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at the Minneola Long Term Care Unit. He was born Sept. 9, 1937 in Mullinville, Kan. to Lewis and Laverne (Furgason) Ralstin.
Ralstin was a farmer/rancher and lifetime resident of Mullinville. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mullinville, Greensburg Masonic Lodge and served several years on the Mullinville School Board.
On June 8, 1958 he married Arlene Irwin in Russell, Kan. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jody Burgess and husband Ryan of Minneola, Kan.; a son, Lewis Ralstin and wife Kathyrn of Greenleaf, Idaho; a daughter, Donna Ralstin of Andover, Kan.; son, Charles Ralstin and wife Dana of Mullinville, Kan.; nine grandchildren; sister, Gayla Roberts of Woodward, Okla.; and brother, RJ Ralstin and wife Janet of Waxahachie, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Carol and Ronnie Ralstin.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Mullinville United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Fillmore officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 at Minnis Mortuary in Bucklin.
