  • Morgan Ave. from First Ave. to the Dodge City Middle School will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 in order to accommodate the setup for the Nov. 11 fireworks display.
    As a result, parking and Memorial Stadium access for Friday's Red Demon football game will be modified.
    To assist everyone attending Friday's game, the north entrance to Memorial Stadium will be accessible to walk-in traffic as usual. Morgan Ave. will be closed to vehicular traffic from First Ave. to the Middle School. Parking will be prohibited on Morgan Ave. and in the draw north of the stadium.
    Disabled parking will be available in the lot on the north side of the stadium in the area normally designated for that purpose. Entry is accessed from First and Morgan and a Disabled Parking placard or license plate is required.
    Police Officers will be stationed at First and Morgan and at the Middle School parking lot to control entrance onto Morgan.
    Additional parking is available at the Civic Center located at First and Morgan and a free shuttle service will be available to and from the north gate both before and after the game. Shuttle service will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
    The Dodge City High School Band will assemble, as usual, in the Middle School parking lot.
