The annual community Thanksgiving dinner is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the National Guard Armory.
Everyone is welcome. There's no charge for the meal, but donations are accepted.
The dinner is sponsored by the Dodge City Ministerial Alliance, New Hope on the Plains, the Salvation Army and Dodge City churches, businesses and individuals.
The annual community dinner has become a tradition for many families who enjoy visiting with other people on the holiday.
Boot Hill Casino and Resort will serve a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 9 p.m.
The traditional Thanksgiving feast will feature carver turkey, herb stuffed pork tenderloin and roasted glazed ham.
Cost for the buffet is $16.99 but your Players Club card will get you a $3 discount.
At the Dodge House, a buffet of traditional Thanksgiving fare will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cost for the buffet will be $13.99 and reservations are recommended, especially for larger parties.
Central Station and Casey's Cowtown will be closed Thursday.
