A woman from Dodge City was killed in car accident just before 8 p.m. Thursday in Haskell County five miles east of the U-83 and K-144 junction.
Crystal Lou Dillon, 22, was driving eastbound on K-144 when her vehicle went left of center and over-corrected to the right. A report from the Kansas Highway Patrol said her 2005 Buick then drove off the roadway, down a small embankment and into a field where it rolled three to four times. The report states that Crystal was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The other two occupants of the vehicle, 29-year-old Lucy Dillon and 24-year-old Mario Dillon, both of Ulysses, were injured in the accident. Lucy was taken to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital. Mario was initially taken to St. Catherine Hospital and later flown to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita.
Both passengers were listed as wearing seatbelts.
