Clarence Adam “Bud” Boner, 90, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 in California.
He was born April 5, 1922 at Wilroads Garden (Dodge City, KS) to Clarence “Clyde” Boner and Pearl Medley.
He married June Citrino Sept. 17, 2952 in Reno, Nev.
He moved to San Francisco in 1954 where he worked for Ford Motor Co. until his retirement.
He joined the Navy Jan. 29, 1941, serving until 1947 and then in reserve until his discharge in 1954. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, serving on the “Tennessee”. Later he received the Purple Hart for his service during the Korean Conflict.
He was proceeded in death by his wife; two sisters Lorene Smith of Calif. and June Meyer of Ulysses. He is survived by his brothers, Melvin Boner of Wenatchee, Wash., Arthur Alpers of Milbrae, Calif.; sisters, Dora May Broberg of Midvale, Utah and Patsy Robertson of Montezuma.
