  • Lady Bulldogs beat Bucklin, raise record to 5-0

  • First half defense sets tone for Ingalls in victory

  • The Ingalls Lady Bulldogs allowed only one Bucklin field goal in the first quarter on the way to 50-27 home victory Tuesday night in Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association.
    Ingalls led 22-10 at halftime and increased the lead to 21 by the end of the third quarter.
    Kaisha Batman led Ingalls (5-0) in scoring with 17 points with Rebecca Wyatt added 13 in the victory. Morgan Hood and Gentry Stout led Bucklin (3-2) with six points apiece.

    CIMARRON -- The Lady Bluejays outscored Meade 23-2 in the opening stanza and coasted the rest of the way for the Hi-Plains League victory.
    Cimarron (5-0) showed no signs of fatigue after claiming their home tournament title last week with Morgan Ediger leading the way with 23 points, while Ashtynn Burns added 14 and Eva Koopman 13 in the victory.
    Kinzie Friesen led Meade (3-2) in scoring with 14 points, while Aylssa Rudzik added 10 for the Lady Buffaloes. Meade made eight 3-pointers against Cimarron in the loss.

    COLDWATER -- The Timberwolves outscored Kiowa County 16-9 in the third quarter and extended the lead in the final quarter to record the SPIAA victory.
    Kilee Harris scored 19 points to lead South Central (2-2) and Alyssa Ediger added 16 in the victory. Halie Headrick scored 19 points to lead the Lady Mavericks (2-3), including five 3-point baskets.

    SATANTA -- The Lady Mustangs scored 18 points in the final quarter to pull away from the host Indians in the Hi-Plains League matchup.
    Nayelly LaPoint led the Lady Mustangs in scoring with 15 points, while Ivon Amparon added 13 in the the victory. Kacey Smith led Satanta (1-4) with 11 points.

    CIMARRON -- The Buffaloes beat Cimarron for the second time in four days on the Bluejays home court outscoring the hosts 16-9 in the opening quarter.
    Morgan Davis scored 17 points to lead the Buffaloes (5-0) while Jett Little and Mark Finster added nine apiece in the victory. Caleb Fischer was the only player for Cimarron (3-2) to score in double figures with 10 points.

    COLDWATER -- The Mavericks allowed no field goals in the third quarter and four points in the second half to record the road rout over the Timberwolves in SPIAA action.
    Kiowa County led only 19-16 at halftime before outscoring the Timberwolves 16-1 in the third quarter to seal the victory.
    Damien Odle led Kiowa County (3-2) with 16 points with Kendall Watson added 10 in the victory. James Cook led South Central (3-2) with seven points.

    SATANTA -- The visiting Mustangs outscored Satanta 33-17 in the first half and allowed only eight points in the second half to record the rout in Hi-Plains League action.
    Clayton Chase scored 18 points (six points in the first three quarters) for Heights (4-1), while Rogelio Rodriguez scored all nine of his points in the opening quarter for the Mustangs.
