The Dodge City High School bowling teams traveled to Great Bend where the boys squad competed in a triangular, while the girls faced the Lady Panthers in a dual.
The Red Demons finished third in their match with a series of 2,262. Salina Sacred Heart won the triangular with a 2,728, followed by Great Bend (2,484) and Dodge City.
Kaden Herbert led the Red Demons with a 613 series (226 in the first game and 206 in the second), while Dillon Woods was next with a 567 (200 in the third game). Other scores for the Demons include Dalton Krayenhagen shot 521, Daniel Calvin bowled a 509, Colt Woods 480 and Jaden Fleener 436.
The Lady Demons lost in their dual to Great Bend 2,170-1,739. Amanda Simmons with a 521 series, followed by Katlyn Tabor (464), Samantha Reyes (400), Ashley Hewes (354), Valarie Crone (250) and Amber Neyer (236).
The bowling teams' next action is a home match next Tuesday at Spare Tyme Bowl against Liberal and Holcomb. The matches start at 3 p.m.
