She lived out her childhood in McCook and Dodge City Kansas, attending public school in Dodge City graduating with the 1977 Class of Dodge City High School. She was not a victim but was victorious over cancer in her fight to deny all it attempted to take from her. She continued to be a wonder to her doctors who could not understand how she kept going. Brown III, and Eric Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and close to thirty years of harvest in her daycare that her husband named, “Netta’s Nest.” Public viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan, 16 at Dove Funeral Home, 4020 SW 6th and again one hour prior to the funeral service, that will be 11 a. m.
