About the event
1. Rappers Kirko Bangz and Kid Ink will be performing Saturday night at the Dodge City Civic Center. Ila Siders, marketing director for United Wireless Arena, said tickets have been selling well for the concert, especially to young people.
2. According to a biography on his website, Kirko Bangz started rapping at the age of 15, due in part to witnessing his mother struggle as a single parent; using his mother’s pain as motivation for his music. Kid Ink's website describes the rapper as "covered from head to toe in tattoos, 24 year-old Los Angeles-based rapper Kid Ink is wrecking havoc on the streets and in cyber world."
3. Kid Ink is sure to perform his lyrical gems like, "Tat It Up" "La La La," and "Keep It Rollin', which together have more than 25 million hits on YouTube. Bangz's 2011 hit single “Drank In My Cup” will also be a crowd pleaser during the show.
