The Dodge City Red Demon bowling teams battled Garden City in a Western Athletic Conference dual at the Garden Bowl.

The Red Demons went 1-2 in the Baker's style match after rolling a 2,697 to Garden City's 3,028 in the series format.

Jaden Fleener bowled a 552 series (201 in the first game) to lead the Red Demons, while Dylan Wood rolled 539. Other scores for the Red Demons include Kaden Herbert (514), Dalton Kragenhagen (509), Cole Woods (456) and Daniel Calvin (452).

The Lady Demons also went 1-2 in the Baker's and had a total pinfall of 2,236 for the day. Garden City bowled 2,585 in their part of the dual.

Amanda Simmons led the Lady Demons with a 576 (223 in the first game), with Katlyn Tabor adding a 453. Other scores for DCHS include Samantha Reyes (413), Ashley Hughes (406), Andrea Enciso (272) and Cecilia Wiser (256).

The DCHS bowling team's next action will be Saturday at the 24-team Great Plains High School Invitaional at Wichita's Northrock Lanes.
