The Dodge City Community College basketball teams were the unwilling victims of giving milestone victories to the Seward County coaches Saturday night in Jayhawk West action.

The Lady Conquistadors fell 73-57 to give Lady Saints' head coach Toby Wynn his 200th victory in the program; while the Conquistadors lost 62-42.

Dodge City (7-13, 1-5) played the Lady Saints tough for 40 minutes, but just couldn't stay with the hosts on the scoreboard.The Lady Conqs trailed 46-32 at halftime, but stayedwith Seward (13-5, 4-1) after intermission.

Kelli Tolar led Dodge City with 16 points while Jameeshia Armstrong added 15 and Casey McCauley 11 in the game. Shanise Brooks led Seward in scoring with 23 points, Madison McLain added 19 and Kelsey Blair 11.

The Conqs' men had a much tougher time in their contest, trailing the Saints 30-10 at halftime. It was Saints' coach Bryan Bollinger's 150th victory with the program. Dodge City (10-10, 2-4) didn't score any points for the first five minutes of the contest and had just five field goals in the first half. The Conqs trailed 42-19 midway through the second half.

Keith Crockett was the only player to score in double figures for the Conqs with 11 points. Dodge City's leading scorer, Vic Adams, had only eight on the night.

Four players scored in double figures for Seward (13-6, 4-1): Jabari Peters 13, Malcolm Hill-Bey 12, Kaheem Ransom 11 and Edson Avila 10.
