Michael Alan Long, 40, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 at his residence in Bucklin. He was born April 14, 1972 in Bucklin to parents, Lloyd and Barbara (Freeman) Long. He was a lifelong Bucklin resident.
Michael graduated from Bucklin High School in 1991. He served in the US Navy. He was a member of the Bucklin United Methodist Church.
On February 25, 1995 he married Emma Jean Wilder at Jefferson City, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Emma; son, Michael; two daughters, Alexandra and Harley; parents, Lloyd and Barbara Long; and brother, Greg Long, all of Bucklin; a sister, Nicki Long of Dallas; special friends, Tina and Ben Guhr; and Mike’s special girls, Cassandra, Alesha, and Krissy Pulkrabek.
Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church. Pastor Rick Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin. Military Rites will be conducted by the Bucklin American Legion Post at the Bucklin Cemetery.
