  • Shelter Belt Fire
  • IMG_0330A southeastern Stafford County property owner was conducting a controlled burn of downed trees (that had been cleared around the homestead) when embers apparently floated into a nearby shelter belt.

Firefighters worked for well over two hours extinguishing the fire. A YouTube video of slide photos shows firefighters working the incident. Great job Stafford County Firefighters!
