  • Loren E. Boger, 77, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at a Columbia, Mo. Health Care Center. He was born May 5, 1935 in Dodge City, Kan., the son of Theodore and Dorthia (Henning) Boger.
    He grew up in Dodge City, and was a route driver for Wonder Bread.
    He married Jean Fawcett and to this union three children were born. They later divorced. On February 14, 1986, he married Karen Slaughter in Eagleville, Mo. She preceded him in death on September 9, 2010.
    Survivors include a daughter, Darlene (Dan) Baker, Ridgeway, Mo.; two sons, Buddy (Kim) Boger, Columbia, Mo., and Danny Boger, Bethany, Mo.; three step-daughters, Kim (Ron) Holst, Lake City, Minn., Kathy (Tim) Wilson, Bethany, Mo., Kelly Peetoom, Eagleville, Mo.; two sisters, Twila Deeren, Ariz., and Glenda Rice, Colo.; brother, Dale Boger, Nev.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
    He also was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ermadale Burke; daughter-in-Law, Lisa Boger; and grandson, Brandon Baker.
    Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, Mo. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home where friends may call anytime after 8 a.m. Saturday. Graveside Service and Burial will be 9 am. Monday, March 4, at the St. Michaels Cemetery, Dodge City.
