Powers, Werner to wed

Ken and Peggy Powers, Dodge City, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shayla Powers, to Jason Werner, son of Ken and Amelia Werner, Hays.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Dodge City High School. She is the Market Asset Protection Manager for Wal-Mart, Western Kansas.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Hays High School. He is Store Manager for Nex-Tech Wireless and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
An April 13, 2013 wedding is planned at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
